Scenarios
Career scenarios
This index lists only scenarios the official patch notes name. It is a fix index, not a complete scenario list — the full roster lives in the game.
The complete scenario roster changes with updates, so this page refuses to guess at one. What it does give you is every scenario Frontier has mentioned in 1.0.4 / 1.0.5 notes, with the specific problem that was fixed.
Scenarios named in official notes
| Scenario | Official note | Patch |
|---|---|---|
| Nordic Fjords | Softlock if the Moon Jelly exhibit was deleted before its objective; fixed by making it placeable | 1.0.5 |
| Great Rift Valley | Quick Release disabled for giraffes (it removed them from storage and blocked the objective); boxed animals removed from the opening cinematic | 1.0.4 / 1.0.5 |
| East Africa | Softlock when opening Animal Trading while Alys discusses adopting a Shoebill | 1.0.5 |
| Sumatra Reserve | Boxed animals no longer appear when loading the level | 1.0.5 |
| New England | Localisation fix: the objective asked for a souvenir shop instead of a gift shop | 1.0.4 |
| Tanzania Reserve | Crash when choosing an Ecosystem Brush | 1.0.5 |
How to use this index
- Stuck on an objective in a named scenario? Check the note above before restarting — several were genuine softlocks.
- Update to the newest patch first: every entry above is fixed.
- If a scenario is not listed here, its fixes have not appeared in official notes and this site will not invent them.
Career progression reminders
- Medals raise the Career accreditation tier; Franchise accreditation is separate (Frontier, 14 October 2026).
- Scenario objectives assume you read the species record — barrier grade and space are checked.
- Reserve-based objectives use the same ratings as Franchise reserves.
FAQ
FAQ
Common questions about this topic.
How many career scenarios are there?
This site does not publish a count: the roster is not documented in the official patch notes, and a guessed number would age badly. The index lists only named scenarios.
Which scenarios had softlocks?
Nordic Fjords, Great Rift Valley, East Africa and Sumatra Reserve, all addressed in 1.0.5.
Do career medals help Franchise?
No. Frontier confirmed the two accreditation tracks are independent.
