Safety and escape prevention
Escapes are part building error, part tracked bug. The workflow is: check the published values, then report the species.
Frontier's 1.0.5 post lists animals escaping during certain behaviours and climbing issues as ongoing work. That does not make every escape a bug — barrier grade, height and climb-proof status explain many.
- Check grade and minimum height against the species record first.
- Climb-proof species need a closed top; a taller fence is not the same thing.
- Walk-through habitats move the safety boundary: guests are inside, so keep hazards off the path.
- 1.0.4 reduced automatic boxing and improved navigation; 1.0.5 improved climbing animations.

FAQ
FAQ
Common questions about this topic.
Is every escape a bug?
No. Check the published grade, height and climb-proof flag first; only then report.
How do I report an escape?
Frontier issue tracker with species, habitat barrier values and the version.
Do water barriers help?
Only where the species record allows them — the barrier page lists those species.
