Known issues after 1.0.5

Frontier's own list, not a community tally. Everything here is quoted in substance from the 1.0.5 post (16 October 2026).

High-priority areas named by Frontier

  • Franchise Mode stability — continued work after several fixes.
  • Crashes and performance — general stability improvements shipped, work continues.
  • Save stability and CC loss — explicitly listed as an area to resolve.
  • Quality-of-life features — edge scrolling and exhibit quick sell/release had not deployed correctly and were re-addressed.
  • Animal behaviour — climbing, jumping, pouncing, enrichment alignment, escapes and over-boxing are all listed as ongoing.

What this means practically

  • Do not rebuild a habitat to chase an escape bug — check barrier grade and height first, then report the species.
  • Do not treat an accreditation threshold as fixed until 1.0.x settles; the requirement numbers are under review.
  • If a Franchise disconnect happens after a maintenance window, it may simply be the window — Frontier announced one for 15 October around 07:00 BST.

FAQ

FAQ

Common questions about this topic.

Where does Frontier track issues?

The official issue tracker (issues.frontierstore.net), plus the 'under investigation' post promised after launch week.

Are animal escapes a bug?

Sometimes. The post lists escapes and climbing as ongoing work, but barrier grade and height are per species and explain many cases.

Is accreditation still changing?

Frontier said on 14 October 2026 it is investigating the rating requirements, so treat thresholds as provisional.
